HS Head Girls Basketball Coach:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- In conjunction with other coaches, organize and run tryouts to determine the teams’ makeup.
- Upon approval of the athletic director, hire assistant and JV coaches.
- Practice preparation and game planning.
- Adjust practice schedules based on sharing the gym with MS teams and HS girls teams.
- Attendance at all practices, games, scrimmages, and occasional other sport-related events.
- Travel with the team on school-provided buses to and from away games.
- Assist with setup and take-down of the gym for home games.
- Update max preps with scores and statistics following all games.
- Assist with organizing parents and other volunteers to be available to assist at home games (door, scorekeeping, scoreboard operator).
- Utilizing parents and coaches to organize the end-of-season celebration.
- Follow all procurement policies for any purchases made for the program. (The athletic director must approve all purchases ahead of time.)
- Assist with the distribution and collection of all uniforms and equipment.
- Follow and support all procedures and expectations outlined in the athletic handbook.
- Obtain Athletic Department approval for any purchases utilizing logos or designs for CCPS.
