Mrs. Elliott is an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching students in Chile, Arizona, and New Mexico. As a native Spanish speaker with an international background, she provides her students with a rich understanding of the language. Mrs. Elliott earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature Education from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile. She also holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Hispanic Cultural Studies from Universidad de Chile. Now in her fourth year at CCPS, she teaches Heritage Spanish for 8th and 9th grades and Spanish III. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she coordinates the State Seal of Bilingualism-Biliteracy program, serves as the ELL Coordinator at CCPS, and holds a Professional Translator certification from the Continuing Education Program at the University of New Mexico.
